NFI and its members have a long history of working with federal officials to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of our products and continue to believe that the cornerstone of a robust food safety program is a strong FDA.

Connelly added:

“We are encouraged by the administration’s willingness to dedicate resources to implementing these important food safety plans. But ensuring the continued safety of the American food supply is an important part of the FDA’s mission and funding it fully should be of paramount importance in Washington. We look forward to working with the bipartisan group of lawmakers who are committed to seeing the FDA fully funded.”

National Fisheries Institute871984Industry_News193171752/Articles/Industry_NewsNews Updates trueBNP_GUID_9-5-2006_A_10000000000000262837com.bnpmedia.form.validator.RequiredValidator16150nameName:45200subjectSubject:com.bnpmedia.form.validator.RequiredValidator408commentComment:No HTML or BBCode in comments please.com.bnpmedia.form.validator.RequiredValidatorPost Your Comment
