Surlean Foods added Corporate Chef Mark Rodriguez to its team.


Surlean Foods added Corporate Chef Mark Rodriguez to its team. Chef Rodriguez is the most recent addition as Surlean Foods R&D continues to grow custom menu development capabilities across all day parts and segments.

Chef Rodriguez works closely with leading restaurant chains to provide valuable ideation and culinary support. An active member of the Research Chefs Association and Institute of Food Technologists, Chef Rodriguez brings his variety of experience and talent to Surlean Foods.

Chef Rodriguez attended the Texas Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu program and gained operator experience as Chef at popular San Antonio and Austin restaurants such as Ventana, The Grill at Leon Springs, L’Etoile and Central Market. Prior to joining the Surlean Foods team, Chef Rodriguez also worked as a personal Chef for the private dining segment through his company, Culinary Creations.
