Pregis Distributor Council (PDC) was formed by Pregis Corp. to help speed-to-market protective packaging solutions for end-use customers.

“We wanted to take an innovative, solutions approach to the supplier/distributor relationship.  Our new growth-oriented PDC program is set up as a two-way communications vehicle.  Pregis’ goal is to inform and train distributors on multiple disciplines—all designed to better support customers who purchase protective packaging solutions,” said Kevin Baudhuin, president, Pregis Corp., Protective Packaging North America.

In addition to thorough training on Pregis protective packaging products and state-of-the-art systems, PDC members also receive ongoing instruction on the latest operating concepts.

The ultimate goal is to empower distributors so that they are better equipped to partner with packagers in ways which add true value to the relationship. Because distributors function as the conduit between Pregis and the packager, the company believes that it is important to arm them with as much knowledge as possible so their mutual customer benefits in a robust way.
